| Routines and Daily Schedule: Teaching Little Hearts Academy is a Christian based child care Academy. We have a consistent schedule and routine lead by qualified and loving staff that are educated in a child's social, cognitive, and spiritual development. Our staff members are Christian in faith and strive to lead others along the Christian path. Our curriculum is age and development appropriate where the children will have many learning and enrichment opportunities. Our curriculum will include writing, math, reading, and language development and skills. Preparing and equipping the children with the basic skills they will need for “school readiness”. |
-Praise and Worship: the classes will combine and congregate to learn the teachings of Jesus
Christ.
-Etiquette: meant to develop them socially. This will be a consistent learning experience taught
throughout the day whenever necessary.
-Reading: The children will have thirty minutes of reading every day, broken into time periods
throughout the day.
-Meal time: consists of two nutritiously prepared meals and one afternoon snack. Our meal
times allow for social interactions with class mates and a learning period for etiquette and
manners.
-Physical education: to include teamwork activities, independent activities, and many rewarding,
self-esteem boosting opportunities. All children are winners!!!
-Arts and Crafts: consists of many creative opportunities that will allow the children to expand
their individual creative minds.
-Music: consists of finger plays, Christian songs, musical activities including musical instruments
and listen/respond activities.
-Center time: a free playtime in which the children will be allowed to choose which activities
they would like to partake in.

| *All classes will receive a naptime/quiet time. This time period will allow children time to relax during a very busy day! The children will not be required to sleep but can participate in quiet activities in their own spaces. |
